Last day of the year!
On est en mode "escape", on part camper à Albany pour échapper à la folie du nouvel an.
Jan a commencé à préparer sa soirée, elle a invité 20 personnes. On préfère notre tranquilité.
We are on mode 'escape', we go camping for a week near Albany to avoid the exitment of New Year's Eve.
Jan is organising a big party with 20 people. We prefer the tranquility of the bush.
12H, on the road again sur Albany highway, direction Albany bien sûr.
On est arrivé vers 19H, IGA était toujours ouvert et ils avaient du saumon fumé ! Ju a eu raison d'y croire! On a même pu prendre une douche chaude à Albany.
Ce soir c'est fête : crackers, tomates sèches et olives, tartines beurrées avec du saumon fumé, et James Squire (plus ancienne bière australienne) et une bouteille de shiraz Plantagenet.
We left at noon and took the Albany Highway to ...Albany of course!
We arrived at 7 pm and IGA was still open so we bought some smoked salmon. We even had a free hot shower!
A real feast tonight: crackers with sundried tomatoes and olives, smoked salmon and salted butter toasts, James Squire and a bottle of shiraz Plantagenet.
Petite peur quand même, le premier spot de camping était complet ! Il y avait des voitures partout et ça avait l'air d'une rave ... On est donc allé au 2ème spot où on a trouvé un petit coin sympa au bord de l'eau. Il y avait du monde mais c'était calme, on nous a même demandé si on allait faire du bruit toute la nuit ...
Il y a une petite bête qui fait du bruit dans les buissons à côté de nous mais on a pas réussi à la voir.

Minuit, Happy New Year ! On l'a fait, on a tenu jusqu'à minuit, good night !

Fait étrange de la journée : avant d'entrer dans IGA, on a rencontré Tony ! Il est à Albany avec Oein pour 2 jours puis ils iront à Pemberton.
Weird fact of the day: we met Tony in front of IGA! He's in Albany with Oein for 2 days then they'll head to Pemberton.
