2011-06-21 Le jour le plus ... court !

Eh oui, quand on est 'down under', que le monde est à l'envers, que l'on a la tête en bas, le 21 Juin (certaines années le 20), on célèbre le solstice d'hiver qui marque le 1er jour de l'hiver et le jour le plus court de l'année !!

Down under, where the world is upside down, the 21st of June (some years the 20th) marks the winter solstice which is the 1st day of winter and the shortest day of the year !!


Et ce n'est plus sur l'océan que je peux admirer le coucher du soleil mais dans le bush. Je suis à York à environ 125 km à l'est de Perth jusqu'au 30 Juin.

And it's no longer over the ocean that I can admire the sunset but over the bush. I'm in York, about 125 km east of Perth, until the 30th of June.
