On a enfin quitté Broome, Vi a l’impression d’y être restée une éternité.
We finally left Broome.
La nuit au KK (backpacker) n’a pas été si terrible, même si on a mal dormi, qu’on s’est couché tard et levé tôt ! On espère ne pas avoir à passer par un backpacker.
The night at the backpacker was not that bad, even if we didn’t sleep well, went to bed late and got up early. Hope we won’t have to stay at a backpacker again.
Le lundi soir, Glenn et Debby (propriétaires du van) nous ont prêté une tente et nous sommes allés au Roeburk Caravan Park en bus avec tous nos sacs … Leur van était intéressant mais le pare-brise était pété, il fallait attendre vendredi pour le changer. Finalement, ils ont pu faire ça lundi et on leur a acheté mardi pour 3650 dollars (qu’on a eu un mal fou à retirer, merci les banques).
Monday night, we stayed at the Roeburk Caravan Park, in a tent Glenn and Debby (the owners of the van) had lent us. Their van was interesting but the windscreen was broken and we had to wait until Friday for it to be fixed. In the end, they managed to change it on Monday and we bought it for 3650$AU.

On a fait baisser le prix car les pneus étaient usés.
Nous sommes restés 2 jours car Ju s’est fait faire ses dread locks (12H).
We stayed two more days because Ju had his dread locks done (12H).
On a squatté sur le parking de Town Beach.
Mardi soir, on a rencontré une famille de français, Bruno, Véronique et leur fils Jonathan, qui font le tour du monde pendant trois ans en 4x4. L’Australie est leur 1ere étape. On a passé une excellente soirée en leur compagnie. Jonathan veut faire l’école du cirque, il a sorti tout son matériel et nous a fait une démonstration.
Tuesday night, we met a French family, Bruno, Véronique and their son Jonathan, who is doing a trip around the world for three years in a 4WD. Australia is their first stop. We spent an excellent evening with them.
Ce matin, Vi a fait un jogging de 10km sur la plage, de Cable Beach à Gantheaume Point. Ereintant ! Mais la plage était superbe. Le ciel était couvert, l’eau turquoise et il n’y avait pratiquement personne.
Vi has been running from Cable Beach to Gantheaume Point this morning. 10 kms on sand, exhausting!
A part ça, on s’est fait bouffé par les sand flies, on a des boutons partout !
We’ve been bitten by the sand flies and we are covered with spots!
On a acheté du matériel de camping pour le van et on est parti en fin d’après midi.
We bought camping gears for the van and we left in the evening.
